Theatre Image was founded in 2007 to bring together the two things I love to do photography and live performance. I have been a photographer for 16 years, my father is a photographer and all his friends were photographers. I grew up around it, when other kids were playing Atari, I was developing and printing black and white photos in my fathers darkroom. Photography is a way of life now and with a degree in digital media, I look forward to all the advances technology has to offer.
In the footsteps of my parents I have been around theatre since I was a young boy. Going to rehearsal with my mom I remember the creative teamwork that went on to put on these grand pieces of wonderment. That was all it took, I have been working behind the scenes ever since. I worked all the way thru high school, collage and spent two years on the road with bands from KISS and Black Sabbath to George Straight and Luther Vandross. I continue to work in the theatre even today, I just can’t quit. “A bad day in the theatre is better than a good day fishing”
So my wife, who is a wonderful actor, gave me a great idea to start a company that would marry these two things together. The company has evolved and continues to evolve into a wonderful creative institution that you will find useful and enjoy.
